I just wanted to say I recently came across your blog and have really enjoyed reading it. I write an investing blog of my own at http://www.gannononinvesting.com.
I came across your blog when I did a Google search for Posco (PKX) – I agree with you completely on that one by the way.
I also noticed your 2005 portfolio included Village Supermarket (VLGEA). I really loved seeing that. I’ve never known anyone else who owned the stock. You might enjoy listening to my podcast of my very first podcast (December 27, 2005) in which I discussed Village.
Here’s the link to that podcast:

Also, here’s a link to my “companies page” entry for Village. There isn’t much info about the company on the web, so the links are nothing special:

I first learned about Village when I was in high school and worked as a cashier at one of the company’s stores. I was impressed by the sales volume per store then. But, I didn’t think to look into whether the or not the company was publicly traded until many years later.
Anyway, I just wanted to say I really enjoy your blog, and loved seeing Village was in your portfolio.
Thanks Geoff, I appreciate it.
