Warren Buffett and Charles Munger Quotes of 2006

Warren Buffett and Charles Munger had some very witty comments during the meeting.  Aside from the usual comments, here’s two that I thought stood out.

The first quote is by Warren Buffett on what he calls the “Anna Nicole Smith Rule”.

Anna Nicole Smith Rule: “When choosing between two rich guys, pick the older one”

The second quote was said by Charles Munger.  Someone asked Buffett if his investment style was influenced by Jeremy Siegel’s new book.  Buffett said no and then asked Munger what he thought.

Munger responded by saying

“Is that the guy who thinks common stocks are good for the long term (Munger paused for a few seconds then continued) I think he’s demented.”
