For the 2nd year in a row, below are details on a Group Hotel Discount for the Berkshire online community. 

The idea is:
(a) To save money as a larger buying force.
(b) To network with one another.
(c) To really just enjoy the true Berkshire weekend spirit, since we will be surrounded by fellow shareholders for the duration of the stay in Omaha.

Last year, “just” 30 rooms at the LaQuinta Inn at Carter Lake were reserved with the “Berkshire Online” block.  This year the entire hotel is reserved.

Rooms for the 2007 meeting are secured at a group rate of $139 / night plus tax.   The hotel is located 2 miles from downtown Omaha (walking distance for the Sabbath observant) with a free shuttle service to the Annual meeting, wireless Internet access, a business center with a photocopier, etc.
